Former Forgách mansion now Kubinyi Museum, building of the guards, arcaded, courtyard façade: XVIII. century Ferenc Rákóczi II War of Independence wooden relief Underneath it is a plaque inscription: A monument is being prepared for the 315th anniversary of the Szécsényi National Assembly (1705)//Creators: Convicts of Balassagyarmat Penitentiary and Prison. - A medieval castle built here in (before) 1456. Remodelled to Forgách family mansion in 17th century (in/after 1690) and in beween 1753 and 1763. The mansion complex parts upper garden/mansion park with the main building, the building of the guards, the NW corner round bastion-lookout, herbal garden. The other part is the 15 hectares lower garden/park (it is 6-8 m lower than the upper garden) other name Castle Garden with two ponds and an educational trail. Listed building and nature protected garden also the area is under archaeologically protected - First? owner: Count Zsigmond Forgách de Ghymes et Gács, who was a nádorispán=~~vice king. Since 1846 owned by noble Ferenc Aurél Emánuel Pulszky de Cselfalva et Lubóc, since 1903 Jenő Grósz, since 1943 baron Béla Lipthay de kisfalud et lubelle. Under WW2 used as Red Army hospital. - 7 Ady Endre Street, Szécsény, Nógrád County, Hungary.
