Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Effect of GTPase, tubulin, and vacuolar type H(+)-ATPase inhibitors on macrophage macropinocytosis. Macrophages differentiated with M-CSF were pretreated 30 min with the drugs indicated below but without serum and M-CSF. Then, the macrophages were treated 30 min with fresh serum-free medium containing M-CSF (50 ng/ml) in the presence of either drug vehicle (Video S9), 80 µM dynasore (Video S10), 500 nM bafilomycin A1 (Video S11), 100 µM NSC23766 (Video S12), 10 µM nocodazole (Video S13), or 40 µM Y-27632 (Video S14). During the treatment, macrophage macropinocytosis was visualized by time-lapse, phase-contrast digital microscopy.
