Description
English: The walkway near the FDR memorial flooded during high tide. The water comes right up to some granite benches. In the distance the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Memorial can be seen.

In 2024 the National Park Service will start a project to increase the height of the Tidal Basin seawall by 4.5 feet.
