Description
English:
Mohács Town Hall, ceremonial room/hall. - The building planned by Aladár Árkay. Built in 1924-1926. Moorish Revival Style. Building SE wing destroyed probably under WW2. The south wing built/used by Hungarian Royal Post Office. In its staircase are paintings by János Pindell (†2007). Stained glass windows are made by Imre Kocsis 1984 works (†2015) - 1 Széchenyi Square, Mohács, Baranya County, Hungary.

Városháza díszterem. A dísztermében található a Busójárás c. gobelin Bán István /1922 - 1984/ textilművész terve alapján, Iparművészeti Vállalat Gobelin Műterme kivitelezésében (1958). Történem: az épület az 1920-as években zártudvaros volt vélhetően a 2 világháború alatt pusztult el a DK-i sarokrész, ekkor Széchenyi tér 1 és 2 szám volt és a déli épületrész 2 szám volt M. kir. posta INFO: maps.hungaricana.hu/hu/HTITerkeptar/35614/ 1926-os kiadás, tervező: Dürr József kataszteri mérnök - Városháza néven helyi védelem azonosító: -2536 -Baranya megye, Mohács, Széchenyi tér 1., Városháza utca, Szabadság utca.
