This work is in the public domain in Ethiopia because it is exempted from copyright by virtue of being a work done by a member or employee of the Ethiopian Ministry of Peace or its child agencies. Photos, videos, and other works prepared by the Ministry of Peace due to being of administrative nature and policy concerning the public, it is in the public domain due to its nature of being "method of operation" and "forms of general use" even when "described, explained, illustrated or embodied in a work" under Proclamation No. 410/2004 on Copyright and Neighboring Rights Protection Part 1 Section 5 Other legal work done by the Ministry or its child agencies are also in the public domain such as documents: In addition under § 313.6(C)(2) of Compendium of U.S. Copyright Office Practices. Such works, known as "edicts of government" make works of the Ministry Foreign Affairs under the Public domain Important note:The Ethiopian Federal Police, NISS, INSA, and other child agencies and their works are subject to the Ministry and thus in the public domain |
