Deutsch: Frankfurt am Main, Stadtteil Sachsenhausen-Nord: Der Kuhhirtenturm, auch „Elefant“ genannt, wurde um das Jahr 1490 erbaut. Er ist der einzige erhalten gebliebene Wehrturm des südmainischen Teils der Frankfurter Stadtbefestigung. Von 1923 bis 1927 wohnte der Komponist Paul Hindemith zeitweilig im Obergeschoss des Kuhhirtenturms. Das Bauwerk wurde 1943 im Zweiten Weltkrieg schwer beschädigt und im Jahr 1957 wieder aufgebaut.
