DescriptionFFM Koenigsbach Stoltzeschneise-Bruecke Koenigswiese West-Arm 2.jpg | Der Königsbach, im Volksmund auch Luderbach genannt, ist ein 13,7 km langer linker (südlicher) Zufluss des Flusses Main im deutschen Bundesland Hessen. Der Bach entspringt östlich der Stadt Dreieich im Landkreis Offenbach, durchfließt das Stadtgebiet von Neu-Isenburg sowie den Frankfurter Stadtwald und den dort befindlichen Jacobiweiher. Der Königsbach mündet verrohrt im Stadtteil Niederrad der Stadt Frankfurt am Main. An der abgebildeten Königswiese ist der Bachlauf für eine kurze Strecke in zwei Arme geteilt. Das Foto zeigt den Austritt des westlichen Arms unter einer Brücke der Stoltzeschneise. In der oberen Bildmitte der Stamm einer der für den Unterlauf des Baches typischen Schwarzerlen (Alnus glutinosa) mit dem für die Art charakteristischen feuchtständigen Wurzelwerk. |
