Deutsch: Frankfurt am Main: Der 1820 vom Frankfurter Architekten Friedrich Rumpf erbaute oktogonale klassizistische Gartentempel, sog. Schönhof-Pavillon, für den hessen-darmstädtische Minister a.D. Carl Ludwig Freiherr von Barckhaus gen. Wiesenhütten, der 1819 den im Vorjahr abgebrannten Besitz erwarb; ehemaliger Standort auf dem Grundstück des Guts Schönhof an der Parkmauer, bzw. der Häusergasse in Frankfurt-Bockenheim, seit 1964 Umsiedlung als Park-Café in den Grüneburgpark im Westend wegen Platzbedarf durch Bau der Breitenbach-Brücke. Dieser Baumaßnahme fiel der Park des Schönhofes nebst Gartentempel zum Opfer. |
