Description
English: The movie shows the formation of a representative plaque induced by Western Reserve virus encoding YFP-A3 over a period of 48 hours (time stamp indicates hours and minutes) after detection of the first infected cell. The right panel shows the signal of YFP-A3, a core viral protein, which highlights the spread of infection. The left panel phase image highlights the loss of cell-cell adhesion and the strong “contraction wave” at the advancing infection front.
