English: Portolan (navigational) charts depicting the areas of the Mediterranean and the Black Sea by Joan Oliva, Livorno, 1624. From the preview of the exhibition Temple of Sciences and Muses, introducing the history of the Research Library in Olomouc and some of the most notable prints, manuscripts and maps from its collections. The exhibition took place in the Regional Museum in Olomouc and the Museum of Arts in Olomouc from 7 April to 12 June 2016. This picture was taken in the Museum of Arts.
