Notes
[edit]Eta Cassiopeiae is a binary star system. Eta Cassiopeiae A is the large bright star in the center of the image. Its companion star, Eta Cassiopeiae B, is almost lost in the glare. In this image it can be seen as the bright lobe extending from the upper right quadrant of Eta Cas A. This star is officially named Achird.
