Français : Mémorial de la 43e (Wessex) Division participant à l'Opération Epsom à la Cote 112 à Esquay-Notre-Dame (Calvados). Le Wyverne emblème de la division " A la mémoire de tous les combattants de la 43e (Wessex) Division qui perdirent leur vie pour la liberté de juin 1944 à mai 1945, ce mémorial est érigé sur le site de la première bataille majeure à laquelle la division prit part du 10 juillet au 29 juillet 1944 lorsque la crête, le château de Fontaine, Éterville et Maltot furent pris et tenus." English: Operation Jupiter memorial on Hill 112 in Esquay-Notre-Dame (Normandy, France). "To the memory of all ranks of the 43 rd (Wessex) Division who laid down their lives in the cause of freedom june 1944 to may 1945. This memorial is erected on the site of the first major battle in wich the Division took part july 10th to july 29th 1944 when this ridge, château de Fontaine, Éterville and Maltot were captured and held." |
