Oftentimes, endocarditis is caused by bacterial infection, although sometimes it arises from nonbacterial causes. This video covers the major types of endocarditis, including infective endocarditis as well as Libman-Sacks endocarditis and nonbacterial thrombotic endocarditis. It also covers the important clinical signs and symptoms of endocarditis. |
