Description
English: Trypanosomes enter the brain parenchyma. One day post infection with 106 Tbb-O, a motile Tbb-O BSF (red) is located adjacent to a PCV. The vascular lumen is visualized with Alexa 647-conjugated BSA (shown in green). RBCs in the lumen of the PCV exclude the vascular maker and appear as negatively stained (dark) streaks. Nuclei are blue.
