Description
Talgrund: Piano di Peccia. Vordergrund rechts: Piode, Canice und oben: Pizzo Mascarpino. Hintergrund v.l.: Poncione di Braga, Mottone, Pizzo Ghiacciaio di Sasso Nero und davor: Tanèda. Die Ausbruchmaterialhalden mit Barackenlagern in der Bergflanke sind äussere Zeichen für enorme Vorgänge im Berginnern. Dort entstehen Kavernen von 39'000 m³ für die Kraftwerkzentrale Peccia und das Wasserschloss sowie 6 km Stollen zum Sambuco-Stausee. Im Talgrund entsteht das Ausgleichsbecken, von dem das turbinierte Wasser vom Sambuco und das vom KW Bavona hergeleitete Wasser dem Kraftwerk Cavergno zugeführt wird. Technische Daten des KW Peccia: 2x24 MW Zwillings-Peltonturbinen
