Summary

[edit]
Description The photo shows a loading bridge, so-called crocodile, at a circular clarifier. The Landschaftspark is an impressive industrial monument in the heart of Duisburg, Germany. Formerly a steelworks, the site has been transformed into a unique park that combines industrial culture, nature and recreational opportunities. The old tracks bear witness to the industrial past and give the park an authentic atmosphere. Today you can walk along the former tracks, cycle or climb the heights to enjoy a breathtaking view over the entire area. The Landschaftspark Duisburg-Nord is an outstanding example of the successful transformation of an industrial wasteland into an impressive leisure and cultural venue.
