Het karakteristieke Collège Neérlandais in Parijs is een van de hoogtepunten uit het oeuvre van Willem Marinus Dudok. Het bijzondere gebouw stamt uit 1938 en kent een rijke geschiedenis. De afgelopen decennia raakte het helaas ernstig in verval maar na vijf jaar van intensief restaureren is dit architectonische hoogstandje weer in ere hersteld. De heropening van het Collège op 17 mei j.l. biedt een prachtige gelegenheid om dit bijzondere gebouw en de restauratie ervan te bekronen met een mooie documentaire. De productie hiervan is in volle gang, maar hier alvast een kort fragment, gewoon om te genieten.

The characteristic Collège Neérlandais in Paris is one of the highlights of Willem Marinus Dudok's oeuvre. The special building dates from 1938 and has a rich history. Over the past few decades, it unfortunately fell into disrepair, but after five years of intensive restoration, this architectural masterpiece has been reinstated. The reopening of the Collège on 17 May j.l. offers a wonderful opportunity to crown this special building and its restoration with a beautiful documentary. The production of this is in full swing, but here, for now, is a short fragment, just to enjoy. |
