Description
Dansk: Illustration af Poul Steffensen til Carit Etlars roman Dronningens Vagtmester, der foregår under den Anden Karl Gustav-krig i 1658-1660. En fremmed kommer til Tam og Kulsoens hytte og spørger efter Svend Gønge, som han har et forseglet brev til. Tam med ryggen til og Kulsoen med lyset fortæller, at de nok skal sørge for, at han får brevet. Men Kulsoen vil i virkeligheden selv læse det.
English: Illustration by Poul Steffensen from the Danish novel Dronningens Vagtmester by Carit Etlar which takes place during the Dano-Swedish War in 1658-1660. A stranger comes to the hus of Tam and Kulsoen and ask for Svend Gønge whom he has a sealed letter for. Tam with his back to the reader and Kulsoen with the light says that they will make sure that he gets the letter. But Kulsoen actually wants to read the letter herself.
