Description

Nr. 20 der in der Dittwarer Ortschronik beschriebenen Bildstöcke und Denkmäler (siehe: Ortschronik).

Aus der Ortschronik: "Das Kreuz an den "Krautgärten" ist etwa vier Meter hoch und wurde 1872 mit der Schrift: "Zu Ehren des gekreuzigten Heilandes errichtet von Anton Holler" aufgestellt. Es steht unter einem gewaltigen Lindenbaum, dessen Alter man auf bis zu 400 Jahre schätzt" (Maninger).

Der Lindenbaum ist ein eingetragenes Naturdenkmal (Einzelgebilde).
