Summary
[edit]| Description |
English: Preserved biological specimen on paper. Preserved Specimen On A3 Paper With A Printed Label Identifying It In The Bottom Right Corner. The Paper Is Mounted On A Larger Cardboard And Covered With Plastic Which Is Sealed To The Board. There Is One Very Large Sample, Which Has Been Folded Twice To Fit The Page. The Same Consists Of A Thick Stem Terminating In The Top Of The Roots. Leaves Extend From The Roots And At Various Places Along The Stem. The Stem Finishes In One Small And Three Large Clusters Of Flowers And Seed Structures. There Are Four Drawings Of The Flowers Of The Plant. Three Are Colored And Show The Deep Red Color The Flowers Had In Life. There Are Different Views Shown And In Pencil Next To One Of The Drawings: 'Unusual'. It Is Unclear If The Drawings Are To Scale. |
