Description
English:
János Apáczai Csere memorial sign by Tibor Vilt. The artwork decorate the side façade of the multi-storey condominium built in 1961 designed by architects György Rácz and Sára Cs. Juhász. The approximately three-metre composition contains seventeen sheets of metal in the form of books strung on vertical and horizontal rods, with closing ornaments at the ends of the bars. The middle largest 'book' reads: In memory of the creator of the Hungarian encyclopedia János Apáczai Csere - 1 Apáczai Csere János utca=2 Régiposta utca, Inner City, 5th district of Budapest.

Apáczai Csere János-emlékjel Vilt Tibor alkotása, 1961. 17 db könyv formájú fémlap. A középső legnagyobbon 'könyvön' ez olvasható: A magyar enciklopédia megalkotója Apáczai Csere János emlékére.
