Description
Ligure: Carte 1-37 do manoscrito Add MS 18178 da Libraja Britannica ch'o contegne i primmi sei libbri de l'Eneide traduti in zeneize da-o Zanbeneito Toelo. O manuscrito o fu aquixio da-a Libraja Britannica o 12 de zugno do 1850. L'œuvia a l'è dedicâ a-o Marcantogno Saolo (1601-1666), ma a no fu mai pubricâ. De 'n poscibbile segondo manoscrito co-i restanti sei libbri se n'è perso e tracce.
English: Folio 1-37 from manuscript Add MS 18178 from the British Library containing the six first books of Virgil's Æneid, translated into the Genoese language by Zanbeneito Toelo. The manuscript was acquired on the 12th of June 1850. The work was dedicated to Marc Antony Saolo (1601-1666) but was never published. A second manuscript containing the remaining six books should have existed but is at the moment untraceable.
