Description
English:
Déri Museum main building. Listed. Neo-Baroque. Built: 1926-1928. Planned by Dénes Györgyi and Aladár Münnich. Built on the place of the former,-Fűvészkert ~Botanical garden. Before the Museum building are four allegorical bronze statues (Archeology, Science, Etnography, Art) by Ferenc Medgyessy, 1929/1930 works. In the vestibule are two busts Mr. and Mrs. Frigyes Déri (1923, 1911 works) by Alajos Stróbl and Richard Kauffungen - 1 Déri Square, Baltazár Dezső Square, Inner City, Debrecen, Hajdú-Bihar County, Hungary.

Dísztermében, az alagsorban Déri Frigyes emlékének c. falfestmény (Felállítás 1928, Haranghy Jenő), előcsarnokában: Déri Frigyes mellszobor (márvány, 1923-ban? kész, Strobl Alajos), szintén az előcsarnokában: Déri Frigyesné mellszobor (szecessziós, márvány, Készítés 1911, Richard Kauffungen).
