Description
English: The project deals with digital trust in the context of human-machine collaboration. The concept of digital trust is to be understood as the assurance of a person who trusts someone or something. As for the digital, it refers to the conversion of information into encrypted data. In reality, it is a total social fact (Marcel Mauss, 1924), insofar as the use of digital tools and software transforms several dimensions of everyday life (Proulx, 2005). Digital trust is therefore the trust of individuals in technological artefacts. In this project, we will focus on trust in artificial intelligence systems. Within the French-speaking world, we will try to see, through the eyes of various experts, how the SHS disciplines can shed light on the issue of trust in artificial intelligence.
