| Description |
English: These narrow ridges are found in many places on Mars. We do not at this time know exactly how they were formed. One popular idea is that they formed by minerals being deposited in cracks. After erosion then removed softer materials, the hard ridges remained. This image was named HiRISE picture of the day for November 26, 2021. |
