English: Higher Teachers' College. As part of an overall effort to increase and improve educational facilities in Afghanistan, the Government concluded an agreement with the United Nations Development Programme to establish a Higher Teacher Training College in Kabul. The agreement was signed in 1964 and UNESCO is the executing agency. The development of curricula and now teaching methods as well as the preparation of teaching materials is an important feature of the work. Students in the chemistry laboratory.
Français : Ecole Normale Surpérieure. Dans le cadre de programme d'élargissement et d'amélioration de l'enseignement, le Gouvernement afghan a conclu un accord en 1964 avec le Programme des Nations Unies pour le Développement pour créer une école normale supérieure à Kaboul. L'UNESCO est l'agent d'exécution de ce projet qui met en grande partie l'accent sur le développement des programmes d'études et des nouvelles méthodes d'enseignement ainsi que sur la préparation de matériel pédagogique.
