English: Plan & Profile for a Survey for a Railroad from Swett's Wharf in Charlestown to join the Boston & Lowell Railroad near Lechmere Point; Made for the Petitioners by B.F. Perham, Civil Engineer. This was constructed by the Charlestown Branch Railroad, later purchased by the Fitchburg Railroad. It was accompanied by a letter to Abijah Goodrich from the engineer, estimating the cost of construction at $19090.66. |
