Description
English: Casualties of the Battle of Grocka, fought in July 22, 1739, by John Lindsay, 20th Earl of Crawford, as mentioned in his Memoirs of the life of the late Right Honourable John, Earl of Craufurd, co-authored by Richard Rolt and published by Henry Köpp soon after his death.

Caption is from the 1769 edition printed by T. Becket, page 151.

Note: The sum of casualties is either a misprint or a miscalculation. Sum is mentioned as 2222, but it should be 3226, that is four generals and 3222 men. Lindsay didn't count generals in sums, as total of casualties listed as wounded would be 2955 including generals. Same misprint/calculation appears also in earlier edition, 1753 original print published by Henry Köpp. This error has been repeated and can still be seen in some contemporary works describing the battle and giving a number of casualties based on this information, such as The Enemy at the Gate - Habsburgs, Ottomans and the Battle for Europe by Andrew Wheatcroft.
