Boomplantdag in Sluis; Studenten planten bomen in de aarden stadsomwalling van Sluis. De bomen zijn bedoeld als geschenk voor het 50-jarig regeringsjubileum van koningin Wilhelmina. SHOTS: - straatshots Sluis: overal nog puinhopen en vernielingen uit de oorlog; van het stadhuis staan alleen de vier muren nog overeind; hier en daar eerste sporen van wederopbouw: bouwvakkers werken aan een huis; een rijtje nieuwe huizen is al klaar; - jonge mannen komen, gewapend met schoppen, aanlopen over de stadswal; ze graven gaten en planten boompjes.;
