Auf der Rückseite des Mahnmales befindet sich eine Bronzetafel mit folgender Inschrift:
Zu den tausenden ermordeten und überlebenden Opfern der nationalsozialistischen Gewaltherrschaft im heutigen Bonn zählen sowohl deutsche als auch ausländische Frauen, Männer und Kinder. Opfer waren alle, die aus weltanschaulichen, religiösen, ethnisch-rassistischen, sozialen und medizinischen, sowie lesbischer und homosexueller Orientierung verfolgt wurden.
