Description
English: A gigantic mirror meant for one of the twin telescopes in the International Gemini Observatory arrives at the port in Ogdensburg, New York. It had just been manufactured at the Corning factory in Canton, New York and will soon start a transatlantic voyage to France where it will be polished. This image was captured in May 1997.
