Description
Svenska: TALLRIK. Rund, svagt skålformig. På insidan, mot mörkt gråblå botten ristad med ormbunksliknande ornament, sju utsparda, asymmetriskt ställda, små runda fält med enkel dekor i gult, grönt och rött med mörkbruna konturer. På utsidan två brunröda bambukvistar. På undersidan ett kejsarmärke: "Ta Tsing Kien-lung nien chi" d.v.s. "Tillverkad under regeringsperioden Kien-lung (1736-1795)". Inköpt av Wilhelmina von Hallwyl den 16 oktober 1903 hos antikhandlare Sigrid Sundborg för 14 kr.Porcelain dish with high-fired blue glaze, sgraffito patterns and enamelled roundelsQing dynasty, Qianlong mark and period (1736-95)The dish was glazed cobalt blue, and while the glaze was still wet spiral patterns were incised into its surface in a style known as sgraffito. A few small roundels were left unglazed, and after the first high firing were enamelled and fired a second time. The style of the dish and mark indicate that it was made later in the Qianlong period.
