Summary
[edit]DescriptionAsymmetry-of-Early-Endosome-Distribution-in-C.-elegans-Embryos-pone.0000493.s001.ogv |
English: Movement of early endosomes in a one-celled embryo. Rapid centrosome directed movement of early endosomes in a one-celled embryo. Pairs of DIC and GFP images were taken every 1 sec (140 sec total recording). In this central focal plane several puncta can be seen moving towards the centrosomes, which are associated with the pronuclei (visible in the DIC image). The anterior cortex shows more EEs than the posterior cortex although anterior enrichment is not yet complete; the time scale of the movie is too short to see anterior movement of cortical EEs. |
