Preserved Specimen On A3 Paper With A Printed Label Identifying It In The Bottom Right Corner. The Paper Is Mounted On A Larger Cardboard And Covered With Plastic Which Is Sealed To The Board. There Are Several Samples Of Different Parts Of The Plant. All Four Samples Have At Least Two Heart-Shaped Leaves Preserved, Attached By Stems To A Thicker Branch. Some Leaf Samples Are Larger Than Others. There Are Also Roots Preserved And Attached To Three Of The Samples. Some Flowers Are Preserved, But Not Very Well. Elsie May Kittredge Did A Colored Drawing Of The Flowers When They Were Alive. They Have Three Dark Red/Purple Petals And Are Set At The Meeting Of A Pair Of Leaves. Her Drawing Of The Leaves Is Unfinished.
