English: Architectural drawing by Ben J. Garnett, city engineer of Spokane, Washington (1916-1956) of the Argonne Bridge, a concrete arch spanning the Spokane River in Millwood, Washington. The bridge was constructed in 1920 and was named after the Argonne Forest in France. It was named in honor of local soldiers who died at the Battle of the Argonne Forest during World War I. |
