Description
English:
Saint Anthony of Padua church other name Franciscan Church. Built in Baroque style in between 1732 and 1734. Its tower completed in 1796. Remodelled/renwed in 1928 and 1929. There are three facade (niche) statues: Francis of Assisi; Saint Anthony of Padua and Immaculata. At the south wall also in a niche is a Mater dolorosa statue (1740 colorful sandstone) Interior: tombs on the walls: 18th-19th centuries; murals: on the vault of the nave and sanctuary: 1948-1950 (by Béla Kontuly); Holy Sepulchre Chapel: 19th century. Stained glass windows: 1902. Equipment/furniture: typically 18th century; side altarpiece: 1780-1800 (by Joseph Falconer?); pulpit: 1771; stallums for choir: 1772 (by Brother Luke?); wrought-iron lattice of the Holy Sepulchre Chapel: second half of the 18th century; main altarpiece: 1844 (by József Wagner); statues of several saints: 1897-1900 (by Ferdinand Stuflesser). Organ: 1925 (Angster József & Son Co.). On the north side of the church there are connected cloister wings and the sacristy of the church - Deák Ferenc Street, Bartók Béla Street, Déri Frigyes Promenade (Road 51), Downtown, Baja, Bács-Kiskun County, Hungary.

Ferences templom A főhomlokzaton három szobor található: Szent Ferenc és Páduai Szent Antal, középen Immaculata-szobor. A szobor fölött, a timpanonban, Istenszeme-ábrázolás. Az oromzat szélein kővázák. A jelenlegi templom 1732-1734 között épült, tornya 1763-ban véglegesen 1796-ra készült el. A templomot 1928-1929-ben megújították. Műemlék azonosító: 2099, törzsszám: 526 Belül az előtérben emléktábla: "A Don-kanyar harcaiban elhunyt hősi halottaink emlékére/1943 január/Magyar Vöröskereszt ..."
