Description
English: This video is captured in 3rd Ilam cultural award in Ahwaz and related to Alwānī vocal style. Alwānī is a folklore vocal style of Arabs in Ahwaz and was named by its own inventor (Alwan) ʿAlwānī. In literature ʿAlwānī is referred to the poet and singer, where the poet and the singer is one person, too. Today ʿAlwānī is refers to a song with peaceful and sad music, which is played only with “Rababa”. This style is considered as a public art of Arab people of Iran
