English: TCR clusters are translocated as the actin centripetal retrograde network constantly flows from the periphery to the center of the synapse. Actin network is visualized by GFP-actin fusion protein, and TCR clusters are labeled by the anti-CD3ε on the supported lipid bilayer. Microfabricated substrate with chromium lines serves as diffusion barriers to physically restrict the lateral transport of TCR clusters. The spacing between each chromium stripe is 2 µm. The acquisition rate is 1 frame per second. |
