Competitors on the firing point at the NSRA National Smallbore Rifle Meeting at Bisley c.1973

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Competitors on the firing point at the NSRA National Smallbore Rifle Meeting at Bisley c.1973.

The NSRA Meeting moved from the former smallbore ranges (now Melville and Sporting Rifle) to Century Range in 1971. The firing point was not paved until ~1975. This dates this photograph - on Century Range but a grass firing point - to the early 1970s.

The National Shooting Centre at Bisley is operated by the British National Rifle Association.

Generously released from the family collection of Neil Almond.
