Description
English: Adalaj Stepwell or Rudabai Stepwell is located in Gujrat, India. It was built in 1498 in the memory of Rana Veer Singh. built in Solanki style of architecture and adorned with Hindu and Jain images.

It is intricately carved and is five stories deep. It has an octagonal opening on top. The walls are covered in intricate carvings with mythological and village scenes. Ref: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adalaj_Stepwell
