| Description |
Natural resources are vital for prosperity but poor people are often not getting their fair share. "Land grabs" have left communities homeless and unable to feed their families. "Extractive" industries such as oil and gas offer great economic potential, but the benefits are seldom felt by local communities. And this situation is worsened by the impacts of climate change that the international community is failing to address properly. We work with communities and civil society partners to lobby governments, international organizations and corporations for fairer policies on land rights, extractives, and climate change.
