Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The 8th Field Artillery (Final Option) Battalion successfully conducted a Live Fire Exercise (LFE) and Forward Observer (FO) Training as Part of the Field Artillery Gunnery Proficiency Training (FAGPT) CL 02-2024 at Headquarters 8th Field Artillery (Final Option) Battalion Camp Bud Datu, Brgy. Tagbak, Indanan, Sulu on 12 September 2024.

The LFE and FO Training are designed to enhance the combat readiness and proficiency of Artillery Units. The LFE allowed the Battalion to test their ability to fire accurately and engage potential Enemy Forces under simulated Combat Conditions. The FO Training focused on improving the Skills of Forward Observers in identifying Targets, calling for Fire Support, and coordinating with Artillery Units to deliver effective fires.

The successful completion of the trainings demonstrates the Battalion's commitment to maintaining a high level of combat readiness and proficiency. The Unit’s participation in the FAGPT is a Testament to their dedication to continuous improvement and their ability to effectively support the Operational Requirements of the Philippine Army.
