AIR COMBAT COMMAND WELCOMES A-29B SUPER TUCANO

Description
English: TODAY | The Air Combat Command welcomes two A-29B Super Tucano Aircraft at Edwin Andrews Air Base, Zamboanga City on December 23, 2023.

Upon arrival, the aircraft were welcomed by a Water Cannon Salute followed by a Blessing Ceremony which was spearheaded by the Commander, ACC, MGEN ARAUS ROBERT F MUSICO PAF.

Also present during the Activity were the Officers and Enlisted Personnel from the ACC, 530th Air Base Group and 15th Strike Wing.

Further, the A-29B Super Tucano will be deployed to support the Close Air Support, Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance, and Light Attack Missions in the Area of Operations of Western Mindanao Command.

“As we look toward the Future, may the A-29B Super Tucano serve as a Beacon of Strength, Unity, and Resilience for our Air Force and our Nation. “ MGEN MUSICO stated.
