2018年7月13日，美籍华人王纯杰夫妇将云冈石窟第7窟鲜卑装人物头像赠予山西博物院。至此，这件在海外流落近一个世纪的“国宝”回归故土。 该人物头像雕刻于北魏时期，在上世纪20年代被盗。王纯杰夫妇从文物藏家后人手中购得并将其捐赠。此次是王纯杰夫妇第二次向山西博物院捐赠“国宝”，2016年曾捐赠一件云冈石窟第19窟的石雕造像。 “带国宝回家，不为别的，只因它们是中国的宝贝。”王纯杰表示，让流失文物回归故土，是夫妇二人多年的心愿。“我们抛砖引玉，希望大家都能跟我想法一样，看到了就该拿回来。” |
