Summary

[edit]
Description
English: 1974 AMC Matador Penske-Allison race car. This is an early serial number, pre-production Matador built by American Motors Corporation (AMC) in Kenosha, Wisconsin. This car was owned by Bobby Allison for over 35 years. Initially sent by AMC to Penske-Allison, and used as a show car. It carries the #12 used while he was driving the AMC under his Bobby Allison Motorsports organization (Penske Racing were #16 and #2). Loaned for display at the 2024 annual convention of the American Motors Owners Association.
  • These pictures were taken during the American Motors Owners Association (AMO) annual convention in June 2024, organized by the Potomac Ramblers Club. Most events were held at the Keystone Truck and Tractor Museum in Petersburg, Virginia.
