Description
English: A 1973 photograph advertising the Hurst Performance "Hurst Rescue System 1" vehicle, a modified AMC Gremlin. The company was marketing "a highway safety vehicle" for emergency services. It serves as an example of how it promoted this vehicle as a quick, compact, and lower-cost alternative to the large specialized vehicles (and slow trucks) for use at motor sport facilities (race tracks, dragstrips, etc.), as well as by highway emergency responders, rescue and fire departments.
