Description
English: 1969 AMC Ambassador SST sedan built by American Motors Corporation. This full-sized car (122 in (3,099 mm) wheelbase and 206.5 in (5,245 mm) length) has the optional Custom trim package that included deeply channeled velour upholstery (individually adjustable reclining front seats were standard on all SST), "custom" badges on door panels, and brushed stainless steel inserts along the lower bodyside trim (in place of the SST's standard woodgrain). This car has AMC's 343 cu in (5.6 L) V8 engine. A 290 cu in (4.8 L) was the base V8. Full wheel covers were standard and typically came with 7.75 x 14 bias whitewall tires (8.25 x 14 optional), but this car has AMC's styled steel wheels were optional on Javelins in 1969 (standard on AMXs) with modern radial white letter tires.
