Description
English: 1966 AMC Ambassador 990 convertible finished in blue - detail of model name on the front fender and wire wheel cover. A full-sized automobile built by American Motors Corporation (AMC) in Kenosha, Wisconsin. This is an all-original one-owner car that was specially ordered by them. Among the features on this car include AMC's 327 cu in (5.4 L) 4-barrel carb V8 engine with a 4-speed manual transmission, a center console-mounted shifter, reclining bucket seats, as well as a factory AM/FM radio and an aftermarket 8-track stereo player. The picture was taken at the 2012 Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) Central Spring meet in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, USA.
