Description
English: From a 1755 composite (2-part) map of Asia, located in the David Rumsey Collection at Stanford University. This 1755 A.D. map excerpt is from page I-VIII of the "Universal Dictionary Of Trade and Commerce", second part of a composite map of Asia, map date: 1755 (written on the map in Roman Numerals), book published by Postlethwayt, Malachy (1707 – 1767), in London, posthumously in 1774 (Fourth Edition). Retrieved and cropped from the 1755 map at Davidrumsey.com on 2 Aug 2023 (the original size is a 589 MB file).
