Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Building in Washington Avenue Historic District on the NRHP since September 7, 1984. The historic district consisted of 8 buildings, roughly bounded by Carpenter, Washington, 10th, and Broad Streets, in the Hawthorne neighborhood of south Philadelphia. This is 1217-1237 Carpenter, formerly the Main Belting Company, now pretty much vacant. But it has some very nice graffiti. East end (nearest) built before 1900, expanded west later.
